Precautions for piglet farming

Precautions for piglet farming

Pig farmers know the importance of piglets to the entire farm, and piglets directly affect the direct economic benefits of the farm. So how can farmers raise piglets well and achieve economic benefits? The following 8 points to pay attention to, hurry up to master! The piglet breeding secrets are all here, the breeders come and collect it! 1. Birth insulation Piglets should be kept warm after birth, newborn piglets have poor thermoregulation, resistance is very fragile, and low temperature is easy to make piglets cold and diarrhea. 2. Piglet vaccine Piglet vaccine immunization must not be less, and timely epidemic prevention tracking should be carried out for piglets in accordance with the process of pig growth and the process of pig farms. For example, pseudo-rabies nasal drops that need to be done on the day of birth, if ignored, can easily cause piglets to die due to pseudorabies. 3. Sow milk Sow milk is a necessary guarantee for piglets to be born. After the piglets are born, after cleaning their mouth, nose and body, let the piglets eat the colostrum of the sow in time. In order to ensure the quality of milk, give the sow a nutritional match in advance, and use lactation products. 4. Prevent being pressed Newborn piglets are slow to react, do not move very sensitively, and can easily be crushed to death by sows. In these days, the sow house needs to maintain a quiet environment to avoid sows and piglets being frightened, increase the intensity of inspection, observe the situation of sows and piglets in time, and use the farrowing bed to reduce the probability of piglets being pressed. 5. Supplement trace elements Newborn piglets need timely iron and selenium supplementation. Iron supplementation can effectively avoid iron deficiency anemia, and selenium deficiency can be supplemented by injecting piglets with vitamin E. 6. Induce eating Piglets begin to prepare to induce eating and increase supplementation 7 days after birth, which is conducive to the process of converting piglets from milk to feed, helping feed to adapt to gastrointestinal and physical functions, and reducing the stress of piglets. Avoid gastrointestinal discomfort and piglet diarrhea. 7. Weaning and feeding As soon as the weaned piglets switch to feed, they are prone to indigestion and nutritional diarrhea, which will cause stress in the piglets. Therefore, after weaning, piglets should be gradually added, but also pay attention to adding nutrients, and do a good job of health care to avoid diarrhea and stress in piglets.

How to raise South American shrimp in summer

How to raise South American shrimp in summer

In the summer high temperature season, hot weather, strong light, high water temperature and poor water quality will directly affect the feeding and molting growth of shrimp, and in severe cases, it will also lead to the morbidity and death of shrimp. Key points of vannamei culture during high summer temperature 1. Water temperature As the water temperature continues to rise and the shrimp continue to grow, it is necessary to increase the water depth to keep the water temperature stable, especially in the middle of culture, the water level must be increased to 1.8-2 meters, and the high temperature period should be kept at 2.2 meters. In the low tide and dry period, mechanical drainage and irrigation should be carried out, the daily water change reaches 50%, and the water temperature is effectively controlled within 30 °C during the high temperature period, which is conducive to shrimp eating more material and growing vigorously. However, when changing the water, use mesh at the water inlet to filter the water to prevent the invasion of the epidemic virus carrying shrimp. 2. Feeding According to the body length of shrimp more than 4 cm, feed low-value small shellfish such as snails and clams, and feed 6~8 kg per 10,000 tails per day. When the body length is 8 cm, 50 kg per 10,000 tails per day; When the body length is more than 12 cm, 100 kg per 10,000 tails are fed per day. Or feed compound feed. When feeding, we should adhere to the principle of four less and four more, that is, less in the early stage, and more in the later stage; Cast less in the morning and more in the evening; Invest less at low tide and more at high tide; Shrimp are cast less when molting in large quantities, and more when growing normally. "Two do not throw", that is, do not cast bait, ring ditch and deep water do not throw. It can effectively improve the utilization rate of feed. 3. Disease In the high temperature period, the shrimp activity ability is poor, the body's metabolic level decreases, the water environment deteriorates, and various pathogenic microorganisms breed, which is very easy to cause shrimp diseases. Therefore, it is necessary to feed the bait should not be too much when feeding, so as to avoid the deterioration and smell of the bait, resulting in water pollution. In order to reduce the water pollution of the shrimp pond, the water should be changed frequently. Secondly, in the high temperature season, it is necessary to reasonably adjust the density of shrimp to maintain a certain amount of active water for the shrimp. Regular mixing of shrimp in the feed can promote smooth liver transformation, repair liver damage, enhance detoxification and detoxification function, promote digestion, and prevent intestinal diseases such as long stool, procrastination, loose stool, loose stool, loose stool, intestinal joint, enteritis, white stool, jejunum and jejunum caused by overfeeding, bacterial infection and other reasons. 4. Floating head At midnight, before dawn, the dissolved oxygen in the pond water body drops to the lowest point, once the phenomenon of shrimp floating head is found, it is necessary to turn on the aerator or change the water in time to increase the dissolved oxygen in the pond, in the breeding process should pay attention to remove the silt at the bottom of the pond to ensure good water quality, regularly use the bottom Ruyi to improve the bottom of the pond environment, decompose the feces, residual bait and other organic matter in the sediment, improve the micro-ecological environment of the sediment, and inhibit the growth and reproduction of harmful bacteria at the bottom of the pond. Enhance the vitality of water bodies, promote the virtuous cycle of water bodies, and maintain stable water quality.

Key points of management of vannamei culture in summer

Key points of management of vannamei culture in summer

Summer temperatures are relatively high, and sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, so how to manage the north and south white shrimp in the high temperature stage? Let's learn the five points of summer management of North and South white shrimp summarized by experts. First, the implementation of water temperature control oxygen regulation With the increase of water temperature and the growth of vannamei shrimp, the water depth should be continuously increased, especially in the middle and late stages of aquaculture, the water level must be increased to 1.8 meters ~ 2 meters, and the high temperature period should be maintained above 2.2 meters. In the high temperature period, the whole drainage and full irrigation should be implemented, and the water temperature should be controlled within 30 °C, so that the transparency of the water can reach 35 cm, so as to facilitate the rapid growth of South American white prawns, high quality and high yield. When changing the water, it is best to use a 60-mesh mesh at the water inlet to filter the water to prevent the invasion of tiny organisms containing the outbreak epidemic virus of vannamei shrimp. Second, the increase of summer rain in anti-stress, rain makes the shrimp pond water quality physical and chemical indicators (pH value, dissolved oxygen, salinity, etc.), algae phase, fungus phase and so on have a large change, resulting in strong stress on shrimp, so it is particularly important to improve the anti-stress ability of shrimp. You can splash degrading spirit + stress calm before the rain to ensure that the shrimp survive the rainy period safely. Third, feed high-quality feed and control the amount of feed should be fed fresh and high-quality vannamei shrimp full-price feed. In summer, shrimp have a large amount of food, fast digestion, and an increase in daily feeding, so a small number of meals should be adopted. Shrimp have the habit of diurnal and nocturnal emergence, frequent nocturnal activities, and strong appetite; Lurking during the day, appetite weakened. Therefore, the bait is mainly fed before sunrise and after sunset, accounting for 70~80% in the morning and evening, 20~30% during the day, and try to avoid high temperature time. The daily feeding amount should be flexibly controlled according to the weather, water quality, health and activity of shrimp. Scientific feeding, less in the morning, more in the evening; Invest less at low tide and more at high tide; Cast less when a large number of shrimp molt, and more when growing normally; Spoiled bait is not cast, ring ditches and deep water are not cast. Fourth, beware of shrimp disease harm high temperature season, the amount of bait should not be too much and too concentrated, so as to avoid the bait deterioration and smell, resulting in pollution of water quality, especially fresh bait, in high temperature weather is very easy to deteriorate, resulting in South American white shrimp poisoning death. In order to reduce the water pollution of the shrimp pond, it is necessary to change the water frequently, and secondly, pay attention to thinning and rationally adjust the density of the shrimp group, so that the shrimp group has a certain space for activity. 5. To prevent the floating head of P. vannamei from falling to the lowest point of the day before midnight and dawn, when P. vannamei is most prone to floating. If it is found that the mysis shrimp, white shrimp floating head, small miscellaneous fish gathering to the pond and other phenomena, it is necessary to start the aerator in time or constantly change the water to increase the dissolved oxygen content of the shrimp pond. Usually, pay attention to removing the silt and debris in the shrimp pond to ensure that the water quality is fresh and good, so as to prevent the death of the floating head of vannamei shrimp. Author: Rugao Aquatic Products Technical Guidance Station Wu Xinxin In summary, it is the management points of the summer high temperature season of North and South White Shrimp, and aquaculture friends can refer to more, and then you can also continue to talk about what problems you have encountered in breeding North and South White Shrimp.
